We're growing accustomed to new racquets from Yonex impressing us when we review them, and the VCORE SV 98 was no exception Sporting a crisp, modern feel and exceptional maneuverability, this update to the VCORE line is all about spin and forgiveness Just bought my son a VCORE 98 305 that came with VS Touch 16/Luxilon Alu Power Rough 16 @ 55/52 It's a pretty sweet setup for this frame, but you don't have to spend that much I'd look into Klip Legend 16/Volkl VStar 16 @55/52 Klip Legend 16/Volkl VPro 16 @55/52 (VPro is borderline firm, but I've had good success with it in guy/poly hybrids)

Otherwise, I'd consider both Yonex racquets you mentioned as baseline sticks—though the Ezone might be slightly better for allcourt play It's a little more precise, while the VCORE 98 is more of a "hammer" I'd probably give the Ezone an edge Ezone has aWhile I would say the Yonex VCORE 98 performs best from the back of the court, it is more than capable at the net and on serve, making it suitable for players who like to attack the net It could benefit from a little more stability on the volleys, but you wouldn't want to change the balance of the racket too much
